Rockliffe's Babies is a British television drama produced by the BBC which ran for two series between 1987 and 1988. The series was devised by Richard O`Keeffe and produced by Leonard Lewis. Writers included Richard O`Keeffe, Don Webb, Charlie Humphreys and Nick Perry. Directors included Derek Lister, Keith Washington, Clive Fleury and David Attwood.

  The programme was a police procedural drama, starring Ian Hogg as Sgt. Alan Rockliffe, assigned to train a team of inexperienced PCs - Steve Hood (Brett Fancy), Gerry O'Dowd (Joe McGann), David Adams (Bill Champion), Janice Hargreaves (Alphonsia Emmanuel), Paul Georgiou (Martyn Ellis), Keith Chitty (John Blakely) and Karen Walsh (Susanna Shelling).


A controversial police procedural from the late 1980s, this ratings-winning drama charts the progress of seven trainee CID officers learning the ropes in some of London's toughest areas.
